KYLE ROBINSON, AIA

At a young age woodworking became a passion passed down from his father and older siblings. This desire to create evolved into pursuits of carpentry and metal fabrication. After receiving a Master of Architecture from the University of Kansas in 2009, Kyle had a variety of construction and design work experiences that all contributed to the formation of RDS in 2019.

In 2011 Kyle moved to Asheville. This move coincided with an economic downturn where architectural design positions were difficult to come by. He eventually came upon a position as a framing carpenter for a residential builder. It was from this experience that he developed a new level of understanding and confidence in residential construction. Kyle then went on to work for a design / build architecture firm honing his skills as an Architect and Project Manager.
